UNFORWARDING EMAIL from AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Comcast, etc.

It is highly recommended that you NOT forward your email at all due to firewalls and security at most internet service providers. Save this link as a “Favorite” or hotlink on your desktop for quick and easy access in checking your academic email.

STEP 1: Go to the UMB Email home page for student: http://webmail.umb.edu/ and click the link for Forwarding your mail or this Or simply click here.

STEP 2: Type in your user name – such as elizabeth.garcia001.

Type in your password. (if you don’t know your password, go to Customer Service in Quinn Administration building.

STEP 3: In the Forwarding Address cell, delete your alternate email address you originally inputted for your email to go to. (You can highlight and delete or place your cursor at the very end of the entry and backspace to erase the address.)

Scroll down and click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the page.

Your email now is UNFOWARDED. Ask a friend/classmate to send you a test message.
