Dear Nursing Student,

Beginning the week of May 15, 2006, you will receive an email informing you what items you are required to submit for clinical clearance.  Please note that the clinical clearance deadline is August 11, 2006 at 5:00 pm.  Failure to submit required documentation may result in the loss of your clinical placement.

A clinical clearance list will be posted on the College bulletin board, by current clinical course. A hard copy will also be available at the Reception Desk.

We are working on clinical placements for the Fall 2006 semester, however, as we are waiting for agency confirmations as well as faculty confirmations, placements may not be sent out until mid-June. We ask for your continued patience.

Lastly, as all students need (except those going into NU 226) to complete a CORI form, a representative from the College will be on the following days and times at a table outside the main office of the College:

Monday, May 15th         10:00 am – 11:30am

Tuesday, May 16th         10:00am – 11:30am

Wednesday, May 17th 10am – 11:30 am

Thursday, May 18th        10:00 am – 11:30

                                            2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Please be sure to have a government issued, picture identification with you (a driver’s license or passport) at the time you complete the form.

All clinical information will be sent to your UMass Boston email account so please be sure to check your email often.
