Dear Exercise and Health Sciences students,

College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) students have been identifying missing information on their degree audits since UMass Boston has switched over to the new People Soft computer system. This has occurred due to conversion problems from the previous Legacy computer system. These audit mistakes will not go away unless students are proactive in identifying them and contacting the correct department.

The College has been working hard with students in identifying and correcting the missing information on their Degree Audits. To expedite and correct specific mistakes on degree audits, students must take the following steps and contact the correct department:

  1. Log onto WISER and print off your degree audit.
  2. Review your degree audit to see if any requirements are missing that were previously fulfilled on your old WISE audit.
  3. If your degree audit is missing any EHS or ESPE courses that were previously fulfilled, visit James Auciello, EHS Program Coordinator, a CNHS Student Affairs Specialist, John Mascetta or Valerie Miller, to resolve the issue.
  4. If your degree audit is missing General Education Requirements (Natural Sciences, Social & Behavioral Science, Arts/Humanities, World Languages/World Cultures, English I & II, First Year Seminar and Statistics) that were previously fulfilled, contact the Director of Undergraduate Education Marietta Schwartz at Marietta.Schwartz@umb.edu. Marietta Schwartz must be contacted for any requests, questions or corrections regarding these requirements.
  5. If your degree audit is missing transfer credits from previous schools attended, contact the Office of Admissions at (617) 287-6100. The Office of Admissions is responsible for posting transfer credits on student transcripts.

CNHS students are responsible for reviewing their degree audit to identify any mistakes and to contact the appropriate department.

CNHS thanks you for your patience in transitioning into the new People Soft computer system. For any additional information or questions please call CNHS at (617) 287-7500. Best of luck this semester!
