Welcome To Nursing

Dear RN traditional students,

      If you’re an RN nursing student who is NOT in the Online program, you MUST attend an Open Advising session. Open Advising for Nursing BS and RN students will be held on April 10th and 11th from 9:30am – 12pm and 2:00pm – 4:30pm and April 19th from  11:30am – 1pm in the Nursing and Health Sciences Lab (2nd Floor of Science Building). There will be two additional Open Advising days on April 20th and 21st from 11:20am – 2:30pm in the old Language Lab (3rd Floor of Science Building). 

      It is mandatory for nursing students to bring your printed audit for faculty and academic advisors to review to accurately plan your spring semester. If you do not attend one of the open advising sessions, the university advising hold will NOT be removed from your record preventing you from registering on your given date for the Fall 2006 semester. Please see an Academic Advisor before April 24th if you are unable to attend Open Advising.

If you are interested in attending clinical ( NU 445, Community Health Nursing) in the upcoming Fall semester, it is especially important that you see an academic advisor this spring semester.
