UMB SNA Highlights

·    The info sessions held on October 17th and 20th were a fabulous success. There was much interest shown in participating in this student nurse association, both nationally and here at the college.  A special thanks to Dean Greer Glazer, John Mascetta, Judy Walsh and Victoria Palmer-Erbs for attending and adding so much to the meetings! For those of you who could not make it to the info sessions, speak with your fellow classmates who were there to find out more about the great benefits of being a member of SNA!

·    Becoming a member of SNA: Go to national SNA website, and click on the green membership button at the top of the screen. Becoming a NSNA (national student nurse association) member will automatically make you a UMB SNA chapter member, plus, you will receive all the special benefits of being part of the national association! You may also access the web page from this link: https://nsnamembership.org/. Make sure you register under the state of Massachusetts membership, of which the fee will be $27 for the entire year.

·    The NSNA website: The NSNA website is a great place to browse and find out what’s going on in the stu! dent nursing world nationally. It also highlights all the great benefits of membership, and gives practical tips on career enhancement, job opportunities and learning resources available to student nurses! Check it out!
