I am very pleased to introduce you to our Department and some of the many exciting offerings we provide including an outstanding faculty, innovative curriculum, and valuable pre-professional experiences. Innovative Curriculum: Our curriculum provides you with strong competitive advantages as you prepare for a successful career in the expanding exercise and health science job market. Our academic program has three areas of specialization: Health Science, Fitness Instruction and Management, and Exercise Science. Valuable Pre-Professional Experiences: Our internship program offered in each of the three concentrations is unsurpassed in providing you with practical experiences to effectively enhance your professional qualifications. We have many distinguished internship sites that will fit your own personal interests. Other attractive features of the EHS Department include a new laboratory with many of the latest exercise/health science equipment, opportunity to engage in undergraduate research with faculty, and annual special events such as nationally recognized visiting lecturers.
