Professor Ellenbecker has taught courses in Health Policy Analysis, Nursing Research, Informatics and Community Health in the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs.
Professor Ellenbecker currently directs the PhD Program in Nursing where she teaches and mentors students in nursing and health policy. |
| Research Expertise |
Professor Ellenbecker’s research has focused on the exploration of health care delivery systems
for the purposes of expanding knowledge in the area of regulation, development and implementation of health policy.
Her research has explored managed care, hospital delivery systems, and home healthcare services including the changing nature of home
health care services, the documentation of care, the quality of service delivery, the measurement of home health care nurses’
job satisfaction and the development a model of nurse job retention. |
