Are you someone interested in Nursing or Health Science research? Join us for our 22^nd Annual Research and Scholarship Day!  Our very own Nursing and Exercise Health Science faculty will be kicking off the event with the following presentations:

 

"Advancing Nursing Knowledge: The Contributions of Seven Nurse Theorists" by Jacqueline Fawcett, RN, Ph.D., FAAN, Professor of Nursing, CNHS

“When Worlds Collide:  Bringing Evidence-Based Health Promotion into Community-Based Organizations” by Jean Wiecha, Ph.D., Assoc. Professor of Exercise & Health Sciences

 

Students from both our Nursing and Exercise and Health Science programs will be presenting capstone projects and poster presentations throughout the day. Refreshments will be served (breakfast and lunch). The event will be held at UMass Boston in the Campus Center Ballroom on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 8:45 a.m. – 6 p.m.
