Graduate Nursing OrganizationWho We AreThe Graduate Nursing Organization is an association affiliated within the Graduate Student Assembly and open to any member of the University of Massachusetts, Boston. The purpose of the organization is to promote understanding of a broad range of advanced practice nursing issues by organizing social and educational events, fundraising, and establishing a collection of educational materials. The Officers of the GNO for the academic year 2005/2006 are:President: Christine R. Saba csaba25@comcast.net We meet monthly and are currently booking speakers for our meetings, The schedule is below. All meetings are held in the Harborview Conference Room. Announcing a New Mentoring ProgramThe GNO is establishing a mentoring program between graduate and undergraduate senior students. The type and amount of communication and involvement are up to the students. If you are interested in being a mentor, please contact the Mentoring Coordinator MembershipMembership is open to any member of the university; however it is especially relevant for graduate nursing students in any of the tracks. One becomes a member upon payment of $2.00 annual dues to the Treasurer or President to cover the period of one academic year. To learn more about the association, contact Christine R.
