1. What is the main purpose of this office?

The Office of Urban Family Health serves a coordinating function for the integration of faculty and student research, other scholarly activities, practice, and community service. Office activities include but are not limited to networking and pre- and postdoctoral training in methodologies that are particularly effective approaches to the implementation and evaluation of services designed to improve the health-related quality of life of urban families. In keeping with the mission of the College, emphasis is placed on unserved and underserved populations, including current and emerging minorities and the elderly.

Science Building, Third Floor, Room 301/46.

3. Who can use this office?

College of Nursing and Health Sciences faculty and students may access the OUFH services free of charge.

Scholars from other institutions and disciplines may contact the Director, Dr. Jacqueline Fawcett, regarding availability of services and fees.

4.What are the working hours of this office?

Monday through Friday from 9 a.m to 5 p.m except on holidays.
